Style trends spring 2023- Everything you need this spring

Have that spring style that attracts compliments and glares across the room. Here are some items to wear this spring 2023 to elevate your style to the max. All of these trend predictions are made from ready to wear, celebrity/ influencer Inspiration , and style cycles.

Heavy on the Cargo

Cargo pants are always the way to go, so this spring go for a baggy cargo pant. This style looks cool, laid back, and it can give you a streetwear or grunge look that will be popular this year. Heavy on the cargo doesn’t even have to only be for pants, many designers such as MIU MIU also added in the cargo skirts and other versions of the trend. Opting for a cargo skirt this spring and summer may be even cooler to wear, so keep your cargos on hand for this spring and the rest of the year.

Preppy princess

Courtesy of influences such as Gossip girl, MIU MIU, and the fashion cycle we are really getting into the preppy look. In fact I think that this look hasn’t gone out of style for a while, making sort of a full proof look, everyone likes a preppy almost school like look. But don’t get too on dress code, this type of school look doesn’t require long skirts or polo shirts. Go for something closer to Cher’s Iconic look in clueless, the girls in Gossip girl (newest one), or go on Pinterest and find the perfect preppy look for the spring. Ballet

There was a rise in the ballet flat, ballet shoes, and people going for a pink Pilates princess look and this will continue. I think spring time will be a big time yet again for the ballet girl aesthetic, with people wearing pink, ballet flats, bows, and a cute blushed look. Already this is a trend but for day time spring looks of 2023 this will be a look.

Also if you want this style change to also turn into a lifestyle one I would definitely suggest going to a ballet class or Pilates class this 2023, it is so healthy for you to do and then you have a great excuse to dress up cute.

Party like its the last

The parties won’t stop this year, I see people increasing their party lifestyle in 2023. We should say a small goodbye to the “clean girl” aesthetic because while it won’t leave, I believe everyone is going to be going for a party girl era. This party life will mean the increase of getting glammed, black dresses, heels, and all night party looks to last.

I am seeing more and more get ready with me videos change from “Get ready with me for the day” to “get ready with me for ____’s party” . Everyone is going out, have fun this spring, buy yourself some party outfits. Inspo for this can also be found on any of the Khaurafab social medias.

Florals for spring…how original

Of course we will be going for florals! Its spring! But this year I think we will be seeing more darker, smaller floral patterns. Small florals, neck ties with fabric flowers, and yet again the romantic aesthetic that creeped in last year.

You can also go for over the top florals, inspired by the Lowee show at fashion week. While I think this will be a trend, I have not yet found a piece I love that is related to this look but when I find it I will let you know on @Khaurafab on Instagram.

Sheer layering

I have been noticing a lot of sheer tights, shirts, and skirts recently. Start layering your sheers or going for a look that requires a cute tights look. To really elevate your style you can also go for colored tights as they are probably a great option. Especially if you want a more colorful look but keep it classy. This trend can also be liked to the preppy look, and the ballet look I was talking about.

Romance

Think of your favorite romance story, Lana del rey, and roses. The romance aesthetic was popular last year but now it will continue with things like leather, stockings/tights, flowy dresses, red, roses, and dark lips. You can also wear a small heel for comfort and class with this look.

City life

This aesthetic I enjoy, I like to call city life. What would a working woman in the city wear? What would Andy from The Devil wears Prada wear? Or Matilda Derf. The point is that work wear is getting a fashionable upgrade. Kitten heels, baggy pants or work pants, purses, button downs, etc. Business wear is changing up and becoming more casual while still being professional and fashionable. The islander

Island attire and flowy wear is pretty much popular every summer. The look Im talking about for this summer ties in multiple aesthetics such as the romantic style, and florals. If you remember the mirror Palais craze last summer we will be having a very similar look in summer 2023. With floral tops, dresses with bigger flower prints, a lot of Spanish influence, and we will see a lot of beach wear. Of course, beach wear is something we will see a lot but I think that every year our spring summer trends differ and get new influence.
