Grunge girls are in, move aside
Have you noticed an influx if bleached brows, liner, black, and new silhouettes? That’s because we are entering a new era of the grunge aesthetic. This time the side bangs will be better, no more chipped nail polish, and forget about plucking your brows-Bleached is the look. In fat I have been battling with myself wether or not I should bleach mine the last few months are these photos are making me truly consider it.
The “Fox” liner evolution
There was a time on tin Tok where people where doing fox liner, meaning they would bring the liner from the outside inner corner out. Another “for eye” could be attributed to Julia Fox and her iconic, well known eyeliner. While I have talked about before in early 2022. The eye liner trends have been expanding and more recently we have gone into this more diffused wing liner. Usually created by a smudged linker and different shades of eye shadow.

The kitten heel Is universal
All I see are Kitten heels! And I am obsessed! You can see in this picture that I have used as an example for any other 2023 trends that the Kitten heel has been being worn with everything. Not just kitten heels but a kitten boot can really work well with this new aesthetic along with other aesthetics for 2023.
Bags under eyes
People are going for a but of a tired look recently, by either incorporating a dark liner look under the eye or adding a bit of red under the eye. Im not 100% sure why tired eyes are a trend because personally I ty my best too look even slightly awake. People love this look especially along side a dark, siren esc , make up look.
Digital Camera
I have had an addiction to old cameras for the last few years, but I never really knew how to get them too my phone. I know, Im bad with technology however maybe I would be better if I had made an earlier switch to the digital camera effect. Photos with a digital camera or even a children’s camera makes you look 10x cooler. I have been seeing everyone especially this new age of grunge girls using digital cameras to get that cool, blurry, Tumblr look. Bye bye clean girls
We have been so intensely into the clean girl aesthetics in recent years that it almost makes sense for us to want to change it up. People want “realness” and while we still have a distorted version of what that means these days. So far people don’t want beige, they don’t want minimalism. Its Time for the arty girl look, darker aesthetics, glam, mattes…We are constantly changing in terms of fashion and style as people and so this change doesn’t mean its for you.
