Five Big Fall Fashion trends 2022

Fall Fashion is amazing because of the vibe, aesthetic, and the transition into the winter months. Layering clothes becomes more and more prominent, and fall colors are every where! I am about to list five, but throughout fall and winter I will be posting non stop fashion and style inspiration.

1) New Denim

Denim isn’t just about your jeans, I have been seeing so much more denim on denim and new jean trends. While I have already wrote about denim trends in an earlier article, I am here to say it again because it is just so prevalent. I like to use runway examples because they really show so much of what’s to come. So not only have I been seeing more denim from smaller designers, but also in recent runway shows that leads me to believe that not only is this a fall fashion trend but that this will extend into multiple seasons this year and next.

2) The baggier the better

If you thought we were going back into skinny jeans soon, you’d be mistaken. While I do think that there will be some tighter styles to be seen, the fashion world still loves a bigger pant. Not just jeans but bringing in some business pants, diffrent textures and colors is everything this fall.

3) Fuzzy

Every year around fall and winter we attain some type of fuzzy or fluffy obsession. These seasons are so cozy, that you just want to be wrapped up in something soft and comforting. This year, I’m feeling a fuzzy bag vibe. Not only have I seen it around, but as enthusiast, I can admit I have been on this trend for a while. Since summer I have been carrying around a fuzzy, yellow Marc Jacobs bag that you can see in many of my posts. It is in The Marc Jacobs tote bag collection, and while I am in love with this fuzzy bag I will be trading my yellow to a fall color.

4) A forever favorite…UGGS

We just can’t get enough of UGGS recently especially platform Uggs. I have been seeing everyone wearing these and I even decided to give in the other day and buy a pair only to find out that not only were they sold out , I would be waitlisted until December. The popularity of those boots is growing more than it has before, for the comfort, look, and vibe that these shoes give off.

5) Silver Sunnies

The metallic sun glasses trend is everywhere and in my opinion this trend is another that started in summer. This started with the dad glasses trend and the metallic Prada glasses everywhere, not only that but we are in a certain time where we are not only more into fashion, but into more unique and creative pieces. So when brands like Balenciaga and Prada are making new types of attire and accessories, we watch on and create a more accessible trend. Which is why we are so obsessed with the dupes. I want to say I have seen these glasses everywhere! Especially on Instagram and TikTok.
