How to trick yourself into working out

I think that working out can sometimes be a bit of a trial, but the most work I do is probably figuring out wether I want to or not . This can lead to over thinking, procrastination, or just giving up and not even bothering to workout at all. By using a few tactics you can trick yourself into going to that workout you’ve been putting off so long.

1) Set a time that you think will be the best for your workout, by putting a some time aside you can properly prepare. So look at your schedule and write that workout in and make sure your optimizing your time.

2) Put on your workout clothes a few minutes (or longer) before your workout. When your already in the clothes you are already so close to working out. You really just have to get ready and pump yourself up to go and just do it.

3) If you need some more motivation, while your getting ready and filling up your water bottle listen to a podcast or something motivational. Try to listen to something that fits you and your mood and like I said earlier, you need to pump yourself up and get your mood up.

4) Remember that while working out you release endorphins, a group of hormones that’s secreted within the nervous system and the brain that can trigger a positive feeling in the body. By remembering that healthy feeling of euphoria, it gets you more excited to workout because of that great feeling afterwards.

5) Wether you are going to a workout class, watching a workout video, or going by your own workout you should be able to go in to that workout and know what your doing. Going in to a workout is a bit taunting and to have an idea of what you are going in there and doing is so much comforting, because then you can plan. This also means you can get even more mentally prepared and motivate yourself.
