How to Dress like Emma Chamberlain

with my new series all about dressing like your favorite celebrities and influencers I decided to let my following on Khaurafab decide who’s style I would do an analysis on. The Khaurafab instagram choose Emma Chamberlain. Recent style in the last years has many different hints of aesthetics and as she has gone up in fashion, we have taken her in as an “icon”. She is a great style inspiration, trendsetter, and a now very established person in fashion. She has now been invited to MET galas, Emmy after parties, and award shows, and was even on the cover of Australian Vogue earlier this year. Because of her great accomplishments as a creator and style influence I wanted to break down her style from casual to the runway. 

Home wear

When Emma Chamberlain is in her casual comfy space she likes to keep it cute and casual with sweets and a hoodie. In her own home, she will usually sport these while making tik-toks for her brand chamberlain coffee. She even wears her brand’s sweaters as well but for the most part, her home attire is always comfy and continues to stay in her main color schemes of dark green, creams, and yellows. 

Casual Emma

A casual outfit of Emma Chamberlin seems to consist of a few key parts. Not only does her main color scheme come into play but she will almost always be seen in a loafer. This is her main shoe style and it has been for a few years now. She also avidly wears things like sweaters, collared shirts, and some sort of baggier/straight-legged bottoms. She follows a certain aesthetic and I think this is what makes her outfits seem so consistent, and fashionable, but also something attainable. Because her casual outfits are based on key elements, she is more able to make these huge fashion trends as they are things we can buy easily. The trends she partakes in and popularizes can also feel more timeless so when you are buying a pair of loafers, for example, this isn’t just a trend that will come and go. You are investing in a timeless piece, that makes fashionable outfits, while still being a part of this trend. 

Classy Chamberlin

A more classy look for Emma comes out during events such as parties, trips, award shows, and the MET Gala. She is usually styled by Luis Vitton and her more frequent jewelry is Cartier. However recently she has been styled by other brands, one example being Loewe. Which really matches the funner part of her style aesthetic. 

In conclusion 

Her style has consisted of a few key things 

• A more casual and relatable style and energy 

• Colors such as yellow, dark green, white, and creams. I also noticed that she will usually add another color to the aesthetic and her clothing for a period of time but then switch it. 

• For example Earlier this year I noticed she was leaning more towards reds, this analysis is based on her instagram feed from around February/march of 2022 to May and then we see more blues and whites make it into the feed.

To dress like/ dress similar to the style trendsetter Emma Chamberlain you can incorporate a few things.

• Loafers

• long white socks

• polos

• Loose jeans, mom jeans, or any type of loose pants

• Jackets like puffers and cardigans
