Best Dressed at the Emmy awards
Each year Celebrities gather to honor actors, directors, and other artists in television with an Emmy. As great of an honor it is to even be nominated, winning one is a great achievement. During the Emmys we are also able to see many great fashion moments, best dressed lists, and accidental matching out fits on the runway. Making the Emmys one of my favorite times to review red carpet attire.
This year we started the evening off with, a fashion and style icon, Zendaya. Her and her Stylist Law have created Iconic, glamorous looks year after year. This year she kept is simple but classic with this black gown my Maison Valentino (who she has been wearing a lot of recently), Bulgari jewelry, and an almost vintage hair style. She looks as beautiful as ever. Not only did she look amazing on the carpet, but even better winning her Emmy.
Since we are already on a vintage style topic, I would like to bring up Elle Fanning who got inspiration from the 50’s and old Hollywood in which we can definitely see with her choice of hair and the over all dress style she has on. Her long black dress includes small pink fabric flowers on the chest along with the same pink on the inside part of the outer layer of the dresses skirt. This look was very classy and fit into theme well, Elle Fanning just screams modern day old Hollywood.
Lizzo is a very bold person in Personality and this translates in her attire as well. She has been seen wearing very big and bold dresses at award shows and events. This time she wore this Red ruffle dress with a high bun. This look is apart of the best dress list because of how eye catching this look just is. Maybe its the red or the size of the Dress or just Lizzo in general but I couldn’t help to look at her a few times and study this glamorously beautiful dress. May I also say she is another stunning award winner on the night.
Another bold look hit the Emmys when Sandra Oh stepped out in her iconic purple color in the form for a sequin suit. She looked very 70s-esque with the all purple look. Even the waves in her hair and the bangs gave off a very nostalgic, outgoing look that matches her personality and makes me want to buy a purple suit for myself.
Emmy- nominated actress and writer Quinta Burnson wore this custom Dolce and Gabana dress last night. This dark bronze dress shined at the Emmys and gave me another old Hollywood glamour vibe. She looked especially when winning her Emmy for Abott Elementary, it is so amazing to see her grow. I used to watch her on buzzfeed videos and she has really Mae a name for herself.
Last but not least I had to include Sofia Vergara, an icon and a generational heartthrob. Sofia Vergara looks stunning per usual in her Lara Basic dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Everything down to the hair and makeup looked wonderful and can I just say how does this woman not age? Sofia Vergara has looked the same for years and while her age may be slowing down she is not. She continues to make everything look good and be the center of glamour in the room.
